Midas has launched its “Midas is the Best” brand campaign to commemorate its 70th anniversary during its convention held in Savannah, GA. The year-long initiative was announced on April 22, 2026, and features actor William Zabka, known for his roles in “The Karate Kid” and “Cobra Kai,” to emphasize the company's commitment to exceptional customer service, automotive craftsmanship, and guarantees, such as The Midas Golden GuaranteeTM. This warranty provides a limited lifetime guarantee on select parts, including brake pads and mufflers, while a tire care program offers coverage for rotations and repairs at all Midas locations nationwide.
The Midas convention assembled over 300 franchisees from more than 700 locations, along with team members and exhibitors, for three days of networking, keynotes, and recognition of top performers. The event included executive sessions addressing brand vision and franchisee-led discussions. Highlights included a “Party on the Patio” with live entertainment and an awards dinner.
Awards presented during the convention included the ASE Technician of the Year awarded to Jeremy Jones and the Red Seal Technician of the Year awarded to Frank Perry. The Franchisees of the Year were recognized based on performance metrics, with Jacob Sharp and Chris Flynn winning in the multi-unit category, and Anil Kumar winning for single-unit performance. Also, Jason Weatherford received the Mark Smith Community Involvement Award for his contributions to local communities.
