Marriott to switch from Pepsi to Coke

The transition is set to commence this summer, during which Coca-Cola products will be phased in across Marriott’s global portfolio.
In a letter shared on Reddit by Satya Anand, Marriott's group president, he indicated that Coca-Cola has been preferred globally over PepsiCo by a margin of two to one, with more than 70% of Marriott’s guests favoring Coca-Cola products. The decision to switch partners is driven by Coca-Cola's data-oriented approach to product assortment, packaging, and merchandising, which is expected to enhance overall product sales and improve guest experiences. Marriott International operates a vast network of over 9,700 properties in more than 143 countries, representing more than 30 brands, including Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, W Hotels, Renaissance, Westin, MGM, Sheraton, Gaylord Hotels, Aloft, Courtyard by Marriott, Moxy, City Express, and Residence Inn.
