Caring Senior Service honors top performers at 2026 conference

Caring Senior Service held its annual conference from April 15-17, 2026, in Riviera Maya, Mexico, celebrating the achievements of franchise owners, caregivers, and overall system performance under the theme “Fundamentals Drive Growth & Profitability. ” The event featured educational and networking opportunities, emphasizing strategies for community growth and quality care, as stated by founder and CEO Jeff Salter. The conference included a keynote address from Ed Johnson of Crafted Coach, who focused on leadership and performance.
Several corporate sponsors supported the event, including Ascension Business Solutions and Paradigm Senior Services. A highlight of the conference was the awards banquet, recognizing outstanding individuals and locations. The prestigious Hedgehog Award, representing the embodiment of the company’s core values, was awarded to Ken Anderson, owner of locations in Jackson, Mississippi, and Katy, Texas.
Anderson's journey with Caring Senior Service began with a Director Apprentice Program, leading to the establishment of his own offices. Salter praised Anderson's servant leadership qualities. Other notable award winners included Negar Haghkar, who received the Pioneer Award for his Arlington, Virginia location, and Wayne Mitchell, who was honored with the Voice of Caring Award for exemplifying the values of Caring Senior Service.
The Gold Medal Champions Circle award was given to the New Braunfels, Texas, location, owned by Cathy Trlica and Lara Harris, for providing the highest service hours in 2025. Houston North, owned by Rick and Kathy Casey, received the “Shakin’ the Bushes” Award for the most referrals. This annual conference not only recognized individual accomplishments but also reinforced the company’s focus on community-centered service delivery, which could lead to enhanced franchise growth and profitability across its network.
